While I agree that the ending was... a lot, I also think it did need a rather sudden and extreme ending, to really hit the audience with the point that that is the end of his route entirely, among other things.
Obviously, Alvy will still be around, and may return in Scribbles' route or Chapter 2; he will still be part of the story, just as Therium is a constant annoyance presence, even though he's no longer the focus of the route, but for one reason or another, the author has decided that this is where his route ends. My assumption is it's because he's such an integral side character that actually having a route for him would (most likely) continue to completely change the story from the way the VN is now—it would no longer be focused on a fantasy romance academy story.

I'm very curious to figure out the truth behind all the many, many secrets we've seen in Therium's and Alvy's routes, and what that vision at the start with the updated prologue actually is, but because there's going to be multiple chapters of the VN, I can only imagine how long it might take to uncover the truth.
I know it's too soon to call, but I have a feeling that Scribbles is the guy who stage this whole things, that character is funny and interesting for sure, but you know what ? I always find sth so suspicious about him, and...demons are demons after all, so I may not be surprised if it turns out to be true.

I usually do not comment on visual novels but Alvy's Day 3 was genuinely one of the best updates I have ever read from a visual novel. Every single thing was perfect. The humor, the sadness and the more tender scenes were all written to perfection. A perfect conclusion to a perfectly written character. This update has made me incredibly excited for the future of this game.

I left the game open, then pressed square to log into it again, and my game runs backwards when i press. I've deleted the saves, made new save files, started over, everything, even deleted and redownloaded the game... Not working... Help?

Hi, Love the game, like so much. I've run into a small bug, it seems you forget to capitalize 'True' on alvy.rpy line 3369 ($ alvyday2.persistent=true) and it is crushing the game.
I swear to god python is such a crybaby language, like indentation are my worst enemies as I keep counting literally nothing and be sure everything is aligned haha

I found an error too in Alvy's route (But it isn't crashing the game), on AN OLDER android (last android update was 2024 or something, if it means anything, seen some wierd stuff with other vn's) I don't remeber where exactly but: I go with Therium Choose Alvy Ignore where it asks if you want to jump a day and stay on day 1
I think it was around the moring of day2...? I don't remember I choose 'ignore' and it seems like I may have only missed a single text or nothing at all....?

Ok it’s been officially one year since the release of Alvy’s route day one and we all know the next update will come soon so how about a little theory discussion about what we know for example:
1 Cody’s backstory and lineage (and father).
2 Therium and Alvy lore (like expectations and backstory).
3 The Nightfallen tribe (we’re missing something here especially about Jerry).
4 The relationship between Argus and Sebil (and his disappearence).
5 The cloaked demon and allies/family
(Also is goal and the spell he’s been using on Cody).
6 Scribbles (I don’t think I need to explain why).
So I’ve got my theories about it since I played this game an obnoxious amount of time, and I know every single line of dialogue of every character, I literally searched for Cody’s dream meaning and for every character name meaning, personality traits, etc. but maybe I’m missing something and before you say anything I DON’T NEED SLEEP I NEED ANSWERS. Pls let me know your theories since I’m out of ideas.
Fuck, it's been so long since i went through it all. Well Alvy is the new leader of the summoners i think. Which is one reason Therium hates him being snubed as the next leader as well as being replaced as the next fav of whoever Therium and furless cat guy? work for.
I have been reading this vn for the past few days and I can say that I LOVE it.!! So. Very. Much. I love the wholesome vibes(yes, there can be some that are not so wholesome but I can ignore those if I choose right). It is totally a break from all those horror and trauma-inducing vns.
There is the action too, and I cannot believe that reading those scenes can make my heart pump. Also, I LOVE Dallan and Alvy so so very much—I cannot 😩.
If I had to point out a flaw, it would be that Dallan's and Aiden's route do not feel fleshed out enough. Tate's and the Alvy-Therium-Scribbles route had so much depth and we get to explore more compared to the other two routes. I am not complaining that it is just mostly dating and stuff —I love it even! And it is only on chapter 1 so it is only starting but since the other two routes had more depth, I just wanted to mention it.
Bruh My father said the same thing when I asked him when he’d come visit and just like in this case, I’m still waiting. Hopefully the update will come sooner than my dad.

Dude I feel exactly like you with the difference that for me, Alvy is literally my favorite character. I'm also very sad with the ending...
