Hello. I played the latest update in Dallan's and Aiden's route. I really like what you have been working on, but can I ask why the romance is so rushed/too soon/fast? What do you have in store after they are now boyfriends and the main story has just begun?
The romance is going at a decent pace, the MC is desperate for some love in his life, so he's ready to jump in a relationship in the blink of an eye, while the main boys are all emotionally vulnerable in their own way, (Aiden's daddy issues, Dallan being treated differently by everyone and Tate [redacted for spoilers]), and because the MC gives them exactly what the need in that time, the romance part escalates quicker than normal.
She really is attractive, but I think part of it is that her personality is just so....what's the word? I wanna say addictive. Ya just can't help but fall in love with her personality.
This VN is fantastic. The writing style is quirky but deep and allows for the story to really build. Including the audience every once in a while for references and 4th wall, keeps you entertained. Scribbles keeps everything interesting and funny as well with their shenanigans.
I love it, especially in Dallan's route. But it's too short for me, I already imagine what Cody and Dallan would do in that test. This makes me anxious already 😂

How frequently do you estimate you'd release new builds? I know you said in the end it depends on well something, but should I estimate maybe every 4-6 months. I know don't have much of a track record on release yet and it's still a new FVN.
The sounds during the restroom scenes in Dallan Route seems to go quite after some time even if I remain on the same text when it started, so if you could have the sounds be continuous until the specific line it supposed to stop.

Yo I have a question that is bugging me lately, if there are picture of humans. Then where are the other humans in that world, or why they don't know about the human something.
There are no humans, the painters just thought they'd try their hands at a furless monkey with a flat face, for fun, the same way people in our world draw furries without them being real.
100/10 would hug Dallan again. I can't wait for tate and scribbles to get their paths. I see great potential in your VN and hope you get enough Patreon support because i'm addicted.

I just saw this and just finished Dallans route, and my gosh I love the big defender cinnamon roll so much! I really do hope that this would continue and I was so surprised about his secret, like I was shocked when he revealed that and thinking back the route I noticed all of the subtle hints about it too!

I think monthly updates make the vns more popular than half yearly big updates. Also maybe some people thought it was on hiatus if they didn't keep up with the news.
I recommended the vn to a few people and most seem to like it, it's just kinda hard to talk about it right now because keeping your mouth zipped about dallan's secret is really hard.. I saw one guy on discord do a lame pun trying to be sneaky while another user was live reading.. xd
I really love all the name choices for the characters mainly Dallan if it's the Irish name meaning as it is perfect for him. (Don't look up the meaning if you haven't played the current update)
BEST FUKING VN GAME EVER, jesus I wish I could know more about the Aiden backstory, what happened with himm and his dad, not to mention about the cat boy TATE(when will be his update? I'm excited), Great game keep it up!! :D
I have slowly started to categorize all the VN's I find enjoyable and here's a short (heh?) entry about this one for anyone who might be interested.
Please do read to the end before you jump into conclusions. This is one of my VN favorites because of the likeable and well written characters and because of the humor - and the use of music. As a word of warning: I have only played Aiden's and Dallan's route.
This is more of a dating sim than adventuring game currently, and despite its name and the backstory, there's actually not much sex at all! You are forced to pick one of the three main NPCs very early on and you can't even flirt with the others. I believe there's some bisexual content in Dallan's route, but I didn't choose to pursue it. There are also a few random sex scenes and one *grr* ... well, not spoiling it... but I want to smash that "#%¤% face for... NoT SPoiLinG It!
There's absolutely no fighting mechanics but I'm still going to push it into "hero's journey" category of VNs because the MC has the "chosen by higher powers to become something great" backstory. The current iteration covers only a few days of game time - which is actually pretty substantial amount of dialogue BUT there's a lot of stuff that happens within that timeframe.
It has a lot of funny dialogue (albeit at times bad spelling), and very good use of music to set the mood. I'm not much into the twink types like the MC, but despite this I very much enjoyed being in his shoes, and I actually got emotional over a few things which is rare. The excellent use of music helps here... Oh, and did I also mention I like the game's music and how it is used... ? Yep, music! The best way to set mood!
I also like the way how they show time progressing within a scene with dots. If I ever get around to writing a visual novel I'll totally stea... borrow... that idea. Likeable characters, too. NSFW obviously.
True there is no battle mechanic, I wish they can add one but eh, its his game so I don't mind about it, what actually interesting to me is that about the characters and how they interact to each other. By far the best vn game I ever played.
Yeh, but Hero's Advent didn't have initially one either, and last time I played it, it wasn't used much. Maybe this is something that will be added later but I'm perfectly fine even if it's not.
In the next update after 2 path has been updated, in chapter 2 are we gonna do like a little battle simulator in the forest if so is nice, and if not thats ok I will read it anyway:D (nice ending on the chapter 1, makes me giggle a little)
Wow, did Dallan's route and did not expect some of the surprises that were in there. But really enjoyed them all the same, can't wait to read more when the other updates come out.
I thought Aiden's secret would turn out to be something else - and it kind of did but also not really. The revelation actually makes sense when you consider it's a magical world but I approached it from more mundane perspective.
Starting from the scene where MC's face meets his fist and the reaction of the... well, you know who... I was pretty sure he had some .... head... issues. I was surprised this wasn't the case (even if it sort of is).
I'm ready to guess this is what @MindOfFur intended, too!
I love the new update, Dallan's route is so fun and wholesome he's the best boy for sure! The twist at the end caught me pleasantly off guard too, that picnic scene is definitely my favorite so far. The writing and presentation is absolutely on point in this route too, and such a nice improvement compared to the first release. I especially love all the chibi illustrations, they make those scenes fun and visually engaging. Can't wait for Tate's route!
P.s.: also is it just me, out do I detect a hint of inspiration from Tennis Ace's Shoichi in Dallan? Hard working, protective student leader type? ;)
I absolutely love this game! The dialogue, while it definitely has some small errors here and there, (and I think would be improved with a bit more punctuation,) is really fun, and I love the dynamic between the characters!
The scenes are fun, though I've only done Aiden's route so far, I love how even some sfw moments get full images, they help draw you in.
All in all, would definitely recommend, one of my favorite VNs that I've read. I would donate via patreon, but sadly am broke, so I'll just have to watch and wait for the public builds.

Honestly speaking dallan was my favorite from the start and after playing this route I have some thoughts I wanna share
1, this route was really wholesome
2, the heart "scene" after the whole Chelsie incident hits different (broke my heart)
3, throughout the route Aiden's "secret" was visible
4,dallan's secret was well hidden and didn't change much (our wolf boy is still best boy and husbando)
5,I want to kill bean so bad
6, that bartender }:‑)
7,can't wait for future updates
8,we didn't get much Cody lore
9, scribbler's general entries though cute🥺
